Jane Caplan, M.D.
Founder
As a Harvard trained psychiatrist and psychotherapist, I am deeply grateful for my mentors in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry during my residency and fellowship. Since that time, I have been working diligently to understand the integration of various healing modalities in order to best help people. Simply put, trauma passed down generationally affects all of us on the individual and collective level. The advent of ketamine assisted therapy and the MAPS training in MDMA demonstrated to me that there is a vast landscape of potential in the human psyche underneath all the defense mechanisms that both serve to protect us and to hold us back. Teachings with indigenous and skilled healers in other cultural contexts helped me to develop awareness that the greatest healing can occur when we remove the ego and allow for the flow of that which is greater. The question is how to integrate the neurobiology of science within an existential, spiritual and cultural context where together we are stronger.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Rocket Stickney
My name is Rocket Stickney. I’m from Sun Valley, Idaho, and I live in Phoenix, Arizona.
Having grown up in Idaho and currently residing in Arizona, I served as a U.S. Navy SEAL from 2019 to 2025. This experience shaped how I plan, assess risk, and care for people in high-stakes, fast-paced situations. I see operations as systems—intentional, tested, and accountable. My standards are clarity, ownership, and follow-through. If a plan breaks in training, I aim to fix it before it matters most.
Building on my foundation from the Navy, I earned my bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership from the University of Charleston. That education helped me build a healthy team structure, shape effective processes, and support leaders as they make decisions. I focus on keeping things moving smoothly and ensuring everyone feels aligned.
With these skills, I currently lead executive protection operations at Gideon Risk Management. I design movement logistics, residential security, event protection, and threat assessments for high-profile clients.
My current work also informs my passion for service. I serve on this board to support veterans and strengthen the operations that help them heal and reclaim momentum. I’m grateful to work alongside a team that challenges old models, backs new paths for recovery, and approaches the mission with humility. I show up for those who served first and honor the responsibility of this seat with heartfelt respect.
Dale Crogan
Dale has worked in the fire and medical service for the past 32 years 30 of which has been with Mesa Fire and medical department. He is currently a captain/paramedic, but in his tenure with the department he has held a number of different positions and roles. None of which he is more proud of than his current role as peer support coordinator for firefighters and all city of Mesa employees along with their families.For the past 13 years he has worked in and around the behavioral health system representing paramedics, firefighters, police officers, and nurses. As the peer support coordinator, Dale helps to find, develop and vet resources for all first responders and their families. Ranging from treatments for PTSD and substance abuse to family support and resiliency programs. Currently Dale is working with state lawmakers to help create new legislation to add more resources for first responders, their families and our community as a whole.Dale hopes to continue to benefit his community through his participation in the non-profit which is aligned with his values of service to others.
Dale’s community starts with his wife, Cindy and their three wonderful daughters Ruby, Lucy and Ivy.
Andy Lombard
Andy Lombard is a venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and ecosystem builder with more than 20 years of experience investing in and helping scale innovative companies. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Tesoro Venture Capital, an AI and semiconductor-focused accelerator and venture platform based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Throughout his career, Andy has worked with hundreds of startups, helping founders access capital, strategic partnerships, commercialization opportunities, and global markets. Previously, he held leadership roles with Motorola Asia and Motorola Ventures, leading investments and strategic partnerships across 13 countries. He also led venture investment and economic development initiatives that have helped strengthen innovation ecosystems and accelerate company growth across Arizona and beyond.
Andy serves on corporate, university, research, and economic development boards and advisory committees, including the Steering Committee for the Mayo Clinic Discovery Oasis, the Technology Transfer Advisory Board for the University of Arizona, and the Board of the WearTech Applied Research Center. His work focuses on bringing together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, researchers, healthcare organizations, and policymakers to accelerate innovation, strengthen communities, and create lasting economic and societal impact.
