East West Global Healing conducts rigorous clinical research to assess the effectiveness of therapy that utilizes non-ordinary states of consciousness (with or without psychedelic medicine) using the four-step healing process for diverse populations. Research lends safety, credibility and legitimacy for emerging techniques to address challenging mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD among vulnerable populations.

As research and government policies evolve to incorporate psychedelics for the mental health conditions, particularly PTSD, East West Global Healing provides essential training to practitioners and medical professionals also incorporating cultural and spiritual practices. We prepare professionals to use medicines safely and confidently, employing evidence-based methods and protocols, while also incorporating cultural practices that are integral to the process. We foster a community of practice for ongoing support, sharing best practices, and research and ongoing support for healing.

The increasing demand for mental health services, coupled with a shortage of medical professionals and therapeutic options, poses significant challenges for many, especially those who are in the most need. East West Global Healing engages in outreach to advocacy and service organizations that work with special populations with high rates of mental health issues, trauma, and substance abuse.
